Through a thematic proposal solicitation approach, domestic enterprises are encouraged to invest in the integrated R&D of AI and 5G Open RAN (O-RAN) technologies, strengthening Taiwan’s independent capabilities in communication technologies. This also supports the development of cross-domain applications including manufacturing, healthcare, transportation, retail, and other sectors, enabling the validation of diverse scenarios and their practical value.
At the same time, by introducing international collaboration mechanisms, the initiative aims to build export-oriented industrial momentum and help Taiwanese enterprises seize opportunities in global markets. By leveraging AI technologies to enhance communication advantages, the program supports local industries in rapidly expanding their international presence.
